Volunteers are always needed and appreciated. These are good hearted, hard working people that offer their time, talent, and personal resources in order to accomplish a common goal. And usually they do this without pay. Volunteers are the hands and feet of our organization that brings life to our mission.
Our volunteers service for different reasons. Some come for the fellowship; others lend a hand as they look for work, some feel that it is their calling in life to help others; but all of them believe in the mission of the food bank. “We are here to offer a hand up for all those in need.” Besides all these reason, you can’t beat the feeling of joy that comes after you have lifted someone up.
